The various Artificial Intelligence services currently available can do an impressive job of creating artwork. However, unless you are knowledgeable of printing processes and know to give the AI generator proper instructions, the artwork generated is often not suitable for high quality printing.
Problems we commonly see are incorrect size, resolution, color profile, file type, and absence of necessary bleed, not to mention errors in typed content. We cannot easily edit these issues.
Because we are seeing an increase in the number of customers bringing AI generated artwork that is not suitable for printing, we must establish the following policy effective 3/5/2026:
- We will not attempt to correct or modify your artwork.
- We will use your AI generated file to create a proof which you, the customer, must review. If you approve it, we will print from that file.
- We will not be held responsible for incorrect colors, pixelated or blurry print, content errors, or size and margin errors.
